These past five weeks have been very full for Dragonfly! I'm excited to see how the plans I'd put in place at the beginning of the year are unfolding. Specifically, one of the goals I had set was to professionalize the coaching practice. By this I mean creating business processes, practices, and automation that enhance the client experience and allow me to focus more of my time and attention on my clients rather than on the running of the business.

This has led me to purchasing, learning, and transitioning to a new platform. While the effort to move to a new technology is always cumbersome, I'm already receiving good feedback from those current and prospective clients who are using it.

In fact, this newsletter is the first to come out through the platform!

A second goal that I've been focusing on these past few weeks is creating more content. Beyond the blogs and vlogs that I've been doing, I'm delving into other ways that I can engage with those interested in achieving success and fulfillment on their terms. Over the past two months, I've taken 3 courses that address various aspects of that engagement - from writing articles, to creating an online course, to hosting and/or participating in Clubhouse, Facebook Live, and Podcasts. While I look forward to sharing more about how each of these develops in the coming months, right now, I'm happy to announce that the Clubhouse room I host, The Leader's Laboratory, is beginning to gain an audience.

Weekly Chat Series on Clubhouse

I've started hosting a series on the new social media and audio-only platform Clubhouse. This is quickly turning into a vibrant forum for leaders and managers alike to discuss strategies and struggles in their careers. We've had lively dialogues on topics such as how to get out of your own way, the difference between leaders and managers - and why both are needed, stepping into leadership, and assessments for leaders and employees. The Leader's Laboratory runs Friday mornings at 11:30 am EDT. Here are a few of the upcoming topics, and you can add them to your calendar for a reminder using the links:

If you've got a topic you'd like for us to discuss, please let me know.

By taking some time at the beginning of the year to create a clear and compelling picture for myself of what success would look like at the end of this year, I've been able to map out a plan to close the gap between where I was on January 1 and where I want to be on December 31. This has made it easy for me to prioritize my time and energy and to know where and how I need to course correct if I find myself off-track.

I'd love to hear the ways in which you set goals and maintain progress.

Sending you good health and success,

Lisa
