I'm excited to share that I've recently left the Center for Collaborative Leadership at UMass Boston to focus full-time on my coaching practice. Big news, right?

Over these past 5 years, I have been humbled and amazed at how quickly Dragonfly Coaching has grown. That growth has all been word of mouth. All thanks to - you, my fantastic community. When you’ve heard a friend, co-worker, or loved one, complaining about how miserable they are in their career, how disillusioned they feel about what they thought their life would be like at this level of success, and how utterly stuck they feel. Because you care about them, your response was, "Hey, I know someone who can help you!"

I think the environmental factors over the past few years such as the pandemic and economic instability have prompted people to reevaluate what a life well-lived means to them. At the same time, they find themselves stuck by the trappings of their current success. They have a good title, make good money, have a family, a home - all of the markers society views as indicators of success, and yet they are miserable. It's getting harder and harder for them to motivate themselves, and the light at the end of the tunnel seems to get more dim and distant with each passing day. Their thoughts ping pong between, "This can't be all there is," and "I don't see any way out." It's been a privilege to help these professionals to:

  • Reignite their passion in their current role
  • Expand their thinking about fulfillment beyond their work
  • Realign their talents and aspirations in new ways that benefit the organization and energize them
  • Leverage their skills to transition in a new direction

What’s on the horizon for me?

  • Continuing to work with clients one-on-one
  • Keynote presentations (both in organizations and for conferences/associations)
  • Beginning to work on my the book, workbook, and course
  • Most importantly, enjoying life!

I am excited to focus my time and attention on Dragonfly Coaching, and I welcome your ideas on where I can best be of service. Whether it again be a person you know, a conference or association where I might speak, or a conversation you need to have, I look forward to reconnecting with you.

With gratitude,

Lisa
